Battlefield Bad Company 2 gets mature rating due to cursing.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 gets an official +18M rating due to the hefty amount of cursing that was included in the multi player. What does this means for gamers? Well for those who don’t mind it brings a more realistic feel to overall warfare scenarios. I have never heard of a soldier being shot say “Jeepers creepers, I’m being shot at”. Adding more appropriate responses (or responses we would all expect in a combat situation) will make the game feel more realistic. The backlash is that the game might get banned in some less than liberal countries. We all know that “the land from down under” aka Australia is notorious when it comes to game ratings. Many popular games were censored there and Battlefield 2 Bad Company will be no exception. Please tune in the the video below to check out what this article is rambling about. Looks like an excellent game. I really don’t think all the cursing is needed. BF 2 and Bf 2142 are great examples. Dice is going to lose sales over this and it isn’t necessary. I can not buy this game for several reasons: beliefs and children in the house. Come on Dice, do it so we can all play.
