Anyone else suckered by the "free beta keys" giveaway ad? I didn't sign up for the bs offers, but did sign up for an account on this forum because of that DAMN AD Not saying this forum is bad, just hate being baited.
Curious to know if anyone has actually followed through with signing up for one of the, so called, free offers.

As far as getting the damn thing, it does work... But you have to sign up for 2 offers ... NOT ALL OF THE OFFERS give away the card... Some companies never send shit thats why these things get a bad rep. BF3N only works with trusted advertisers so yeah, our sponsors are legit.

Before you say anything make sure you know what you're talking about. That offer is from AdscendMedia. They are a reputable CPA network and they have a contract with GameStop to bring you freebies. Yes, you do have to follow the rules and sign up for shit but that is how this works. That IMAGE of yours is simply an ad that helps to sponsor the site. It is no different than Google Adwords, Adbrite, Traffic vance... etc...etc.. I have been an affiliate marketer for over a year now and this is how sites make money. Please realize that gaming is my passion, but passion don't pay the bills. Why do people get angry with ads? It beats me. No one is making you click on them. If I had a penis enlargement ad there would you also be mad that it did not make your penis longer? Internet is all about business... Like any other thing in the world. Check any other battlefield 3 fan site...

enterbf3.com works with adscend also, but they go one step further and require people to fill out offers.
battlefield3forums.com is also plastered with ads...
planetbattlefield works with traffic vance and have their site full of ads
etc...
etc...

I put alot of effor into sites so why be angry If I decided to make some money of the users who are willing to click and fill out my offers?

none of that changes the fact that its a bull shit add that is completely meaningless (it doesn't even say what beta it's talking about for gods sake.) it's left to the reader to infer that because its on a battlefield 3 site it's talking about the battlefield 3 beta just to get people to click on in. I'm not stupid enough to click on it, even though adblock somehow missed it, but if i did it would probably have me sign up for something i didn't want or take a survey and get nothing in return.
